I am John Xenos. I live in Athens and I photograph weddings across the whole of Greece — the city, the mainland, the islands.
When you choose me as your photographer, you have a partner through the entire process. We build the timeline together. I scout the venues, plan around the light, and communicate with your planner so the day runs the way we want it to. By the time the wedding arrives, I know it intimately.
That is the work I love. The photographs come out of it.
I take a small number of weddings a year on purpose. Yours gets my attention from the first message to the final gallery.
Outside of weddings, my life is here in Athens. I am a father of two daughters. I spend my evenings out — dinners that run long, friends, music, the city when it slows down in the summer. Athens is a beautiful place to live. That is the life I bring to your wedding day.
Tell me about your weddingBefore the wedding day, we meet. The goal is simple — to have fun. I want the two of you to be yourselves in front of me. I want to see who you really are, not who you think you should be on camera.
By the wedding day, we've spent real time together. That changes everything. You're not standing next to a stranger on the most important day of your life.

Greece is a beautiful country. The islands, the coast, the small mainland towns — each one has its own feel, its own light, its own way of living. I've been lucky enough to live in this country.
Born and raised in Athens. I've photographed weddings on most of the islands and across the mainland.
Greece is magical.
I want you to live your day fully. Not thinking about the photos. Not worrying about the schedule. Not performing for anyone. Just there, with your people, while I do the rest.
